Inspections inside occupied dwellings is suspended. This will primarily effect furnace, water heater, air conditioner, and electrical service inspections. Mechanical, plumbing and electrical contractors will not receive final inspections for occupied residences until we are at a level with the pandemic that is considered more safe. Inspections may still be scheduled for businesses where social distancing can be maintained and certainly, all new construction projects. In certain situations where it is crucial to conduct an inspection, the inspector may conduct a video inspection at the inspectors discretion. These instances will be evaluated case by case.
