Civic Center w Address

Civic Center EntranceIn response to the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order being lifted, the Charter Township of Ypsilanti will re-open to the public on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. Although buildings will be open, some services will still be limited as we continue to move through the re-opening stages. In an effort to protect our employees and residents new safety protocols have been put in place at our facilities to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

  • Mask or facial covering should be worn in all public areas. If a visitor arrives without covering, then one will be offered by a greeter.
  • Visitors will be screened for symptoms and COVID-19 exposure.
  • Physical distancing of 6 feet or more will be required. Markings and stanchions have been placed to help direct traffic flow.
  • Cleaning and sanitation procedures have been updated to provide more thorough and frequent cleaning of common areas and equipment.

Township employees are back to work and available to assist all residents with their needs. If residents are more comfortable conducting business remotely, please continue to utilize the online services available on our website, or contact us by email or phone.
