Feedback MattersThe Community Advisory Board for Law Enforcement (CABLE) was established by county residents with the support of the Washtenaw County Sheriff. Its purposes are as follows:

- To provide a forum for the residents of Washtenaw County to express their perspectives on any aspect of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s operations;
- To gather information on important issues concerning the Sheriff’s Office and make that information available to the public;
- To serve as a conduit for the flow of information between the community and the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO);
- To make recommendations to WCSO on specific incidents or policies as necessary;

CABLE is requesting comments and questions from the public concerning the Appleridge incident in Ypsilanti Township, Michigan on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.


The comment period will be open until June 30, 2020, at 11:59 PM.


Sheriff Clayton provided a presentation on the incident, including body camera footage, on May 29, 2020.
