More than 50 volunteers are needed to help with various tasks throughout the West Willow neighborhood Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 9:00am - 4:00pm (lunch will be provided around 12:00pm) at West Willow Community Resource Center (2057 Tyler Rd, Ypsilanti). Please note that volunteers are requested to participate the entire day (9:00am - 4:00pm). If you are unable to do so, please notify our volunteer coordinator.


Volunteers will:

• Prepare lunch

• Clean up area along neighborhood bike path fence

• Repair and maintain Little Free Libraries (bring a book to donate, also!)

• Clean up outside area of the West Willow Community Resource Center

• Clean out storm drains

• Help residents remove unwanted items from homes into trailers, dumpsters and ReStore truck

• Make repairs and exterior improvements to resident homes


Safety & Age Restrictions: Our work sites have the highest standard of safety and we will provide safety glasses, gloves and materials. Those ages 14 - 17 are welcome on site if accompanied by an adult and must have his/her parent or legal guardian complete a signed paper waiver to bring on site.
