In honor of former longtime director Art Serafinski, Ypsilanti Township Recreation hosts a golf tournament each summer to raise funds for the Serafinski Scholarship Fund.

As a department, we want to thank all the teams that participate and sponsors who supported the "Fore the Cause - Serafinski Scholarship Golf Tournament" event. We look forward to hosting the tournament each year as a way to continue to support the fund and be able to continuously provide recreation opportunities in the community.

The purpose of the fund is to provide youth recreation opportunities with our department each season. The scholarship is primarily for those aged 3-17 and can be used for most in house programs. The scholarship is also used to provide community events for the family!

Families can apply for the scholarship at any time and the award is good for one calendar year. To apply to be considered for the scholarship, please completing the Scholarship Program Application or call our office at (734) 544 - 3800.
