Junk Vehicle ImageNon-operable vehicles are a hazard for children and others, tend to devalue property, and are a magnet for crime and vandalism. It is unlawful to park or store inoperable, wrecked, junked or partially dismantled motor vehicles on any street, public or residential property, unless completely contained inside a fully enclosed building. It is unlawful to repair or dismantle a motor vehicle upon any public right-of-way, public or residential premises, unless wholly contained in a fully enclosed building.

Minor repair work completed outdoors within 24 hours by the owner of a motor vehicle on his own property is permitted.
