Civic Center w Address

It is in the best interest of the township to correct sidewalks that are considered "trip hazards". A trip hazard is defined as 2 inches or more. The resident's report will then be added to our list for inspection and will be handled based on the specifics of each concern. Many of our newer subdivisions have a homeowner's association to handle these sidewalk concerns.

Each summer (usually in June) we seek pricing for the number of sidewalks needing repair. These may be repaired in late summer or fall. We are continually trying to improve this process of serving our residents in this capacity. There are many factors involved including, weather, funding, time and condition of the existing sidewalk.

We would like all of your sidewalk concerns to be remedied, however, at the present time, because of the factors listed above, it is necessary to concentrate on trip hazards first. We encourage you to report your sidewalk concern to us.
