2019 Winter Taxes will be mailed out the week of Sunday, December 1, 2019 and are due by Friday, February 14, 2020. All payments received or postmarked from Saturday, February 15, 2020 - Monday, March 2, 2020 will incur a 3% penalty. Due to the leap year, we will accept tax payments through the end of business day on Monday, March 2, 2020. Beginning Tuesday, March 3, 2020, Township taxes for real property will be transferred to the Washtenaw County Treasurers Office.

Payment Options

DropboxBy Mail: Send top portion of bill, along with a check payable to Ypsilanti Township to 7200 S. Huron River Dr. Ypsilanti, Mi 48197. No late postmarks will be accepted. All payments received or postmarked from Saturday, February 15, 2020 - Monday, March 2, 2020 will incur a 3% penalty.

In Person: Cash or check (made out to: "Ypsilanti Township") ONLY. Tilden R. Stumbo Civic Center Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (Closed 12:00pm - 1:00pm daily). Please be aware that the Civic Center offices will be CLOSED for the holidays Monday, December 23, 2019 - Wednesday, January 1, 2020. The building will reopen on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 8:30am - 4:30pm (closed 12:00pm - 1:00pm for lunch daily). Civic Center offices are also CLOSED on Monday, January 20, 2020 and Monday, February 17, 2020.

At Bank (full payments ONLY): Washtenaw Federal Credit Union (1861 Whittaker Road) and any Ypsilanti Branch of Bank of Ann Arbor. No partial payments will be accepted and you must also provide the top portion of your tax bill when paying at either of these financial institutions.

Drive-Up Drop Box (checks ONLY, NO CASH): Located in the parking lot of the Tilden R. Stumbo Civic Center.

Online: Provide the property number on the front of the tax bill. Credit/Debit cards are accepted (Visa, MC, Discover, and American Express) with a 3% convenience fee will be added based on the amount of your bill. You can also use a checking account routing number and account number for a flat $3 fee.

Enter your Last Name, Address, or Parcel Number > Click Search > Double click on your property > Click on 'Pay Tax Bill Now' on the right > Make sure the correct season is in the box > Select 'Pay Now'
