Come join WCCD, ReLeaf Michigan, HRWC, and Ypsilanti Township in support of Willow Run Acres (a local non-profit) by building a new community garden at Appleridge Park (2899 E Clark Rd)!

The event will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 1:00pm - 4:30pm.

In the case of extreme weather conditions (i.e. thunder/lightning or frozen ground) the event will be rescheduled for May 14th.

A brief ceremony will kick-off the event followed by ReLeaf Michigan providing guidance on bare-root tree planting for fruit and nut trees.
Some equipment will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring gloves, as well as shovels, buckets, and pruners/loppers if possible.

Please dress for working outdoors in any weather, including closed-toe shoes.

Refreshments will be provided as well as a port-a-potty.
