UPDATE Thursday, March 23rd:

The Ypsilanti Township Board of Trustees has authorized retaining a contractor to assist with the large volume of curbside brush. Crews are close to 50% complete with both A and B routes.

Completed Routes: Monday B, Tuesday B, Monday A, Thursday A

Routes in Progress: Wednesday B, Friday A

We have been limited on collection days due to weather conditions and are unable to chip Thursday, March 23rd due to unsafe conditions from the rain.

Entry Level Firefighter Application Process: Open Mar 16th - Apr 28th

The Charter Township of Ypsilanti will be accepting Entry Level Firefighter applications packets Thursday, March 16, 2023 – Friday, April 28, 2023. This process will be used to establish an eligibility list to fill current openings.

Duties of a firefighter include work in the protection of life and property; operate and assist in maintaining equipment, apparatus and facilities; and to participate in rescue and fire prevention activities.
