Michigan developer S.R. Jacobson has petitioned the Township Planning Commission and Township Board to amend the previously approved Lakewood Farms Planned Development (PD14) to allow for a revised mix of residential units. The proposed plan calls for the overall reduction in the number of multi-family units and increases the overall number of single-family residential units aligning with the goals of the Township's overall Master Plan. Overall the total number of residential units is proposed to be reduced from 415 to 392 total units. Due to this change in the approved mix of residential uses, the project and requested changes are carefully being considered by the Township Planning Commission and Township Board.
September 16: The project now moves to the Final Engineering phase of the review process prior to going through a final site plan or PD Stage II review and approval.
Any additional questions or comments may be directed to the Township Planning Department (734) 485 - 3943.
