TiresThe Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner's Office and Augusta Township will be sponsoring an Clean-Up Day for Washtenaw County residents. The Clean-Up Day will take place Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 9:00am - 1:00pm at Lincoln High School (7425 Willis Rd, Ypsilanti).

 

These events provide an opportunity for residents to dispose of many unwanted household items in a safe and sustainable manner. Numerous household materials can be brought to these events, including:

Tires; not on rims ($4 fee each passenger vehicle tire, $20 each semi tire)

Scrap Metal

Freon-Containing Appliances (air conditioners, refrigerators, etc.)

Electronic equipment (most items free except TV's and monitors $15 each)

Bulky Household Items (limited to mattresses, box springs, furniture and carpeting)

Household hazardous materials (paint, motor oil, pesticides, cleaning supplies, etc. Call (734) 222 - 3810 for a full list.)

 

NOT Accepted:

Constuction Waster (drywall, concrete, wood, bricks, shingles, etc.)

Chain Link/Wire Fencing

High Pressure Tanks

TVs over 50" or Rear Projection TVs

Household Garbage

 

There is a $10 entry fee for cars, small pick-up trucks $15, half-ton/car with trailer: $20.

This is a service for Washtenaw County residents only. All Washtenaw County residents are welcome and encouraged to attend. This collection is intended for residential use only - please, no businesses.
