The Color Run Ypsilanti Street Closures
On Saturday, June 21, 2014 Ypsilanti will once again host the nationally acclaimed 5k Run/Walk - The Color Run. As many as 15,000 participants are expected.
The streets on the route will be CLOSED TO TRAFFIC starting at 7:00am on the race morning of Saturday, June 21st. There will be NO PARKING on any part of the course starting at 6:00am, vehicles will be towed or ticketed after 6:00am. Please plan in advance to move your vehicle.
The race begins at 8:00am on River & Cross St. Participants will be staged on Cross Street through Depot Town.
The streets will begin to reopen at about 12:00pm after the runners have passed and the crews completely clean the area. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your support and understanding. Please be assured the city and race crews will restore the area to its pre-race condition at the conclusion of the event. Please note this is not a full day closure.
The Depot Town Farmers Market will still be held but at a different time on this date only. It will be held from 1:00pm - 5:00pm.

Hamilton Street from Lowell Street to Washtenaw Avenue
Washtenaw Avenue from Hamilton Street to N Huron Street
N Huron Street/Huron River Drive to Lowell Street
Ypsilanti Police will be monitoring and directing traffic at all major street crossings and emergency vehicles will always have the "right-of-way".
