Human-ResourcesDuties and Responsibilities of the Human Resource Department

  • Recruit, select, and hire new employees
  • Develop, facilitate, and implement personnel policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and oversee staff training programs
  • Administer employee compensation and benefit programs
  • Maintain confidential employee personnel and medical files
  • Administer all collective bargaining agreements and employee contracts and serve as a representative of the Township’s collective bargaining team
  • Mediate or facilitate employee relations issues
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and Township procedures related to personnel administration
